Additional fixes to make the change work; - fix Python 2 vs 3 issues - fix some PEP 8 warnings - handle paths with numbers correctly - mention the make rule in doc/HACKING.

is reasonably secure, but please ensure you read the instructions and
configure it properly.
To build Tor from source:
./configure && make && make install
To build Tor from a just-cloned git repository:
sh autogen.sh && ./configure && make && make install
